Went from Shimokitazawa to Hakone-Yumoto by Odakyu Line. Then had lunch by the riverside at Hakone-Yumoto. Took the bus to Hatajuku, and walked the Old Tokaido Road (stone-paved road) for about an hour and a half (>_<;). Drank the famous amazake in the Amazake-chaya and took the bus to Motohakone, where you can see the inverted reflection of Mt. Fuji on the surface of Lake Ashi. Took the bus to Ashinoyu where the Kinokuniya Ryokan is.
Went to the onsen three times: after arriving, before going to bed, and in the morning the day after.XD

Went back to Motohakone by bus, and spent time taking pictures of Mt. Fuji. Walked the old Tokaido road again (Cedar Avenue) to Hakonemachi. Looked around the Hakone checkpoint (museum) and went on a sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi. Rode the ropeway in Togendai to Owakudani to look at how people make kurotamago, and went back to Sounzan (%^$%#@#$%@ CABLECAR!!! I HATE HIGH PLACES!!!) Took another cablecar to Gora and from there we took the Hakone Tozan Train (a very cool train that does "switchback," the train going forward, and then from one stop, goes backward to another station) to Hakone-Yumoto.
