Day fourty-eight. Wow. I've been living here in Japan for a month a a half now.XD

Anyway, happy happy day. Nevermind what has happened lately.My Sony Ericsson phone's entire memory erased without my knowledge, thanks to the pokute. One year worth of contacts,  messages, pictures, and videos. People touching/using your things/resources without permission are much HATED, yes?^_^ Oh well, what can I do? People must have been born that way, uncivilized and without an ounce of respect in their values.

Anyway, today is the fifteenth. We got our allowance for November today. Mata kanemochi da! Oh, and me and Terry's fourth month together.♥ She was checking her archive last time and realized that we have been talking every single night since October 1. Sugoi.XD

And yeah, pictures from last Saturday are uploaded here: Ueno Zoo (Panda! Penguin!XD) and Tokyo Tower. Klao also has pictures (asakusa, ueno doubutsu koen, tokyo tower II- 3 landmarks in a day!):D Sorry, couldn't do the Sakura thingy because 1. we were inside the observatory; 2. we were 150m above the ground. As some of you know, I'm acrophobic. To prove my point, there was this part of the floor of the first level of the main observatory where the floor was made of glass, so you can see below the tower. Klao wanted me to step on it so she could take a picture of my feet. She was able to take a photo (click here) but what you can't see in that photo is a frightened Boomboom with her eyes shut and hands gripping the handrail tightly.o(>-<)o

On the 21st (Wed), the AIKOMsei are going hiking in Mt. Takao!(^o^)/ Mt. Takao is a place popular for its autumn leaves. They said at the top, the leaves are all red.♥ Mitaiiiiiii~

Then on 23-25, Todai Komaba Campus will be holding their annual Komabasai. Yay~! It's Todai's school festival at last! On the 23rd (Fri) I'm going to attend the play thingy at the Tokyo GaiDai  (Tokyo University for Foreign Students) with Klao and on Saturday, the 24th, we're attending Komabasai.:D I wish there'll be a flea market.:3

Then then on December 2, we're going to Kamakura! Yay~

I'll be getting my work permit soon so I can apply for a part-time job. Money is much needed if you want to go to Kyouto and Oosaka during the winter break.:D

Okay, today's the day my phone's supposed to be sent to our house, and as usual, I am so paranoid whether it'll be sent at all or not. I wasn't worrying when it was still in Japan, but when it gets there in the Philippines? Ooooh... I don't know.x__x;;

And yes, I can trace the package but only until it was dispatched from the Tokyo Central Post Office, or some place like that. I can only guess if my package has arrived in the Philippines. My country's technology is still not that advanced to even inform me whether my package is safe or not.T--T

As much as I don't like worrying about little stuff I should not be worrying about, I can't help it. Paranoia is like my middle name.XO

Gar. My class starts at 1pm. Good luck to all you enrolling in UP! This is the last semester for some, and for the others? Hmm...^^;;

So today we went to the National Museum of Japanese History in Sakura, Chiba Prefecture. The place was huge, and would have given me everything I needed to know about the history of Japan so that I don't need to attend Boccellari-sensei's class anymore... except that everything is written in Japanese.^^;; So my tutor had to stop and explain this and that to me.

The field trip would have been fun if we went on a sunny day, not on a day when a typhoon is coming in the afternoon. And it didn't help that the museum is fifteen minutes away from the station by foot. So yeah, after fifteen minutes of walking under the heavy rain, everyone was soaked while waiting for the train that'd take us back to Tokyo one hour later.

I'm so tired right now. We took three trains, the Inokashira line from Kichijoji to Shibuya, the Ginza line from Shibuya to Ueno, and the Keisei line from Ueno to Sakura, Chiba-ken. The trains here are really convenient; you can go from one prefecture to another just by taking the train. The trip was long so I was able to rest after exploring that huge museum for four hours.

In other news, my tutor called the Sony Ericsson office to ask whether they can repair my keitai, and they said they can't, and that no shops are allowed to accept foreign keitais for repair. I don't know why Klao nor Terry wouldn't believe me. This is Japan, not the Philippines for crying out loud. Like Winston said, when you break your phone, either it is replaced with a new one under warranty, or you buy a new one yourself. Karen also told me that if ever there is someone out there who repairs foreign phones, it'll just cost me a lot of money. The next solution would be buying a unit that uses a sim card and can contact other countries, but a unit like that is very expensive. Yodobashi-Akiba doesn't sell one, Klao said, so I don't know where I can buy that. Last resort will be sending my keitai back to the Philippines, have it repaired there, and have my parents send it back to me here. I am desperate to have my phone repaired because I must have contact with Terry and Mama everyday, or else I'll go mad here. So yeah, perfect timing for this thing to stop working.=_= I was so depressed last Wednesday that I was twenty minutes late for my first class the next day, because I had no energy. What to do... What to do...

Next week marks the end of October and that means I've been here for a month already! Woot!(^-^)/ And we can use the heater next month, yay~ I'm wearing two layers of clothing and using two comforters my senpai left me. I hope the leaves will turn red already. I want a picture of autumn leaves, dammit!!!XD

Bad day.

Went to Nihonbashi to send the money we borrowed from my aunt. Waited for 45 minutes for my turn. Watched CNN while waiting. Was shocked by the great fire in Southern California. It cost me 6,500円 to send the money. Unwillingly chatted with a French diplomat. Finally got away from him and went back to Kichijoji to meet Klao.

Spent 790円 for late lunch and about 2000円 for a white poncho and a long sleeved shirt. Klao was to call her sister using my Sony Ericsson unit and when we switched sim cards, my phone won't turn on. We thought it's only because of the battery, but when we arrived here at Mitaka Ryou, I immediately charged it and it's still dead. Until now. I don't know what to do anymore.T--T

I'll try going to the Sony Ericsson building here in Tokyo when I'm free. I can't afford to let my phone be dead like this. If I do, I won't be able to receive messages to Mama and Terry for one year. Shit.

Hah! Tsukaretaaaaaaaaaaa~

Woke up very early today because we're meeting at 8am in the Common Hall for some paper signing before we went to Kichijoji by bus. We were joined by Kuya Patrick, another Filipino who is also living in Mitaka Ryou. He's here in Japan because of Mombukagakusho. Sugoi desu ne~

Anyway, opening a bank account took a lot of time, but here you can open a bank account with only 10yen as initial deposit.=P The delivery of the cash card will take 10 days and the direct banking card thingy will be delivered in two weeks.x_x"

Next, we went to Yodobashi Camera-Kichijoji to get our mobile phones. I've decided on the sky blue one, which is a different model from everyone's phones.XD Again, that took a lot of time because after signing forms again, we had to wait for an hour for our phone to get activated I think. Then when we came back, the salesman told me to get a letter of consent from my parents because I'm just nineteen. WTH. I said I am a foreign student, but still, that made me wait for another thirty-forty minutes.

When Carla (the one from Chile) and I got our phones, it was dark and everybody except for me, Carla, Wan (Malaysia), Clara (Indonesia), Shu (France), Lam (UK), and Ben (Canada) left. We didn't know how to get back to Mitaka Ryou, so they asked around. By the time we got to the right road where we were supposed to ride the bus back to Shinkawa, it was already raining so hard. We decided to eat dinner somewhere instead. Spent sen yen for that.T--T

Anyway, so I'm back here in my room. Here is my ketai email address: chibi_risa [at] ezweb [dot] ne [dot] jp

But you can still text me on the same number since the roaming feature's activated. It just costs Php1 anyway.=P
